Problem and constraints
A payment document needed an optically readable barcode. Without access to the main repository, the integration had to evolve without blocking the product team.
Technical decision and outcome
After Dart/ESC-POS approaches and native functions failed optical-reading requirements, I used ZXing in Kotlin to generate imagery at the required density. MethodChannels connects Flutter to native code; Dart sends rasterized content over Bluetooth. A small API isolates complexity and the output was validated on hardware.
